previously i had the following
download : 4.89 Mbps
upload : 0.35 Mbps
after setting up openDNS, i went to
download : 3.12 Mbps
upload : 0.35 Mbps
i have seen no increase in my speeds, is there anything i can do to solve this? -
DNS is normally nothing to do with upload and download speed, not at all, but the main factor for this is your ISP and other intermittend internet conditions. That said, OpenDNS cannot help you to increase or decrease your speed, but can increase your name resolution performance only.
Whatever, go back to your previous settings (DNS service) and see if it is better then. I would think no, it isn't unless you're far away from the OpenDNS location you're using.
