Administrative: How to block all chat but Google Chat?

    When I use the category Instant Messaging, Google Chat is also blocked.
    I have tried to add google.com to my whitelist, but Google Chat is still blocked.
    Is there a way to block all chats but Google Chat?

    Google.com wouldn't have been blocked unless you blocked it otherwise, so you can probably remove that from your list.

    Check your blocked domain stats for the likely google subdomains and add them.
    chatenabled.mail.google.com is probably a good one to start with. talk.google.com if you do voice/video chat.

    Always flush browser and local resolver caches after changing settings.
