Is ther a way to block videos in you tube by the name of the videos (eg: sex/nude'etc). Because I still see there is a hole in openDNS which is not filtering those videos. Otherwise I love your service and I have been talking about to all the people I know. Great tool.
Please Help. -

You really need to study up on what DNS does if you think it is a hole in OpenDNS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System is a decent place to start. -
"How do we block videos in you tube"
Add the domain name s.ytimg.com to your "always block" list.
"... by the name of the videos (eg: sex/nude'etc)."
Well, see if your router has this feature. Or use one of those software packages doing it for you. -
AdministratorAs far as I know, Youtube doesn't use different domain names for content with sex/nudity and safe content.
Dailymotion did something pretty clever for OpenDNS. Before unlocking access to unsafe content, they attempt to send a query to a specific domain. If this query fails, access to unsafe videos is blocked.
OpenDNS has dailymotion.com flagged as safe, but familyfilter.dailymotion.com (or whatever it's called, I don't remember) as sex/nudity. So, even though all the videos are hosted at the same domain, just like Youtube, OpenDNS can be used to block inappropriate videos.
Hope Youtube and other video hosting services can do the same thing.Thankful People: zelus, maintenance -
This seems to be family-filter.dailymotion.com.
