Domain Name System (DNS) troubles: After Trying Open DNS CNN.COM and Sandicor.com don't work

Hey guys,
I've been playing around wanting a bit more control over a few of my kids access to various websites. Kids will be kids, I wanted to just cut out the severe stuff. So I turned the filter on low, and then turned off Porn.
I set my static ip address, and then changed my DNS to OpenDNS server's. 1 day later I could no longer open CNN.com and SANDICOR.com as well as a host of ther websites.
I tried whitelisting, and making them safe pages and It still doesn't work.
I flushed the DNS, deleted the ARP Cache, rebooted, rebooted the router, verified that the DNS servers were correctly pointed and that I had no THRID Or proxy servers.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much!
(THIS happens to ALL computers on the network, and when I directly connected bypassing the router it also happened, so I'm led to belive its a problem outside our network)
Any super cool ideas to try? Thanks!

Yes, I have some ideas, but would need to see the output of the following commands:
nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com.
nslookup www.cnn.com.
nslookup www.sandicor.com.
tracert www.cnn.com
tracert www.sandicor.com
Also, what is your geographical location?

What's not blocked, doesn't need whitelisting. You can safely remove that.
