I am running Marcs updater on a Windows 2003 server. When I check "IP updates" from the tray icon I am seeing an update every 2 hrs 40 mins even though I have update freq set to 5 mins.

Is that what I should expect to see, and if not how do I fix it?

Whatever, an Updater in general is supposed to only perform an update if the IP address actually has changed. Saying that this is 2:40 for you tells me that this is most likely the frequency your ISP changes your IP address. I think you answered my question. The updates listed are not always associated with an IP change. I will assume that it is checking every 5 mins as set up.

- If you open the GUI and leave it with clicking "Ok" instead of "Cancel";
- In rare cases after a network fluctuation;
