I have a Windows 2008 domain controller in my home office and a testing/lab environment. I am running DNS and the server will resolve addresses because I think its set up to hit root DNS servers out of the box... I dont want it to do this.. I want it to resolve local names and then use OpenDNS for everything else. I already added resolver1 and resolver2 (.opendns.com) to my forwarders. Its not working... still resolves porn and junk. If I change the DNS on the nic on one of the workstations on the network it filters... but when I switch it back to the IP of the domain controller it wont filter...
I want the workstations to send lookups to the DC and the DC to use OpenDNS. In case your wondering why - I need the DC to resolve local names for the network and dont wanna use WINS

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
