OpenDNS services: DNSCrypt and VPN troubles

    I use Witopia for VPN. Computer is iMac running OS10.6.8. When I am connected to VPN and start DNSCrypt (or reverse order) the DNSCrypt preference flashes back and forth from Protected to Unprotected. I also get sporadic errors with iTunes connecting to my iPhone. Ideas or help? Thanks.

    Don't worry. As long as you use a VPN, you don't use your local DNS settings (OpenDNS with or without DNSCrypt) anyway, but the DNS service configured at the remote end of the VPN.
