Domain blocking: sharpcast.com is erroneously tagged

    sharpcast.com has been recently tagged as Games, however this isn't true, sharpcast.com is part of the file storage program SugarSync, which uses the domain sugarproxy.sharpcast.com in order to connect and sync to the servers.

    SugarSync will not work if this domain is still tagged this way while Games are blocked in Content Filtering!

    This is the error that appears on SugarSync log:

    [6/3/2012 9:02:56 PM:321] [error] [framework.connection.ssl] [1196] [ScSSLConnectionValidator.cpp:90 verifyHostname: Certificate subject *.opendns.com does not match configured host sugarproxy.sharpcast.com]

    FYI, I already opened a support ticket regarding this situation.

    Hello georgio777,

    I have flagged the domain for review, and suggested that the sub-domain "sugarproxy.sharpcast.com" be put into "File Storage".

    OpenDNS Staff will update the root domain in response to your support ticket.
