It seems the stats are now "simplified", almost showing just to the second level domain. Can you confirm this observation?
-
Administratorrotblitz, are you saying that you only see Stats for domains up to the 2nd level domain and nothing with 3rd or 4th level?

I have one fourth-level domain listed, and many third level domains. -
"are you saying that you only see Stats for domains up to the 2nd level domain and nothing with 3rd or 4th level?"
Yes, this is since 1 or 2 days. I almost see only 2nd level domains. I see just very few 3rd and 4th level subdomains, the vaste majority are 2nd level domains only. Also the asterisks in front of catch-all domains disappeared.
See here my top 10 from yesterday (June 9):
Rank Domain Requests
1 google.com 508
2 in-addr.arpa 263
3 sipport.de 249
4 opendns.com 222
5 simply-connect.de 169
6 vortel.de 168
7 purtel.com 168
8 api.mywot.com 148
9 webcounter.goweb.de 132
10 norton.com 97
And see here my top 10 from June 6:
Rank Domain Requests
1 sip.sipport.de 166
2 sip.vortel.de 106
3 deu2.purtel.com 106
4 sip.simply-connect.de 106
5 _sip._udp.sip.sipport.de 83
6 api.mywot.com 58
7 _sip._udp.sip.vortel.de 53
8 _sip._udp.deu2.purtel.com 53
9 _sip._udp.sip.simply-connect.de 53
10 www.google.com 43
You see, in comparision to three days ago, it has now been simplified to an extent no longer being useful. -

How odd!
I still do see the "wildcard" asterisk in my Stats. Can this be a Flash issue? I've noticed occasionally that text will not display fully or correctly* when the server side bits of a Flash app have been updated, but I had not yet updated the Flash Player.
*Oddly enough, asterisks in particular, but I believe thy were replaced with those character placeholder squares. -
Certainly not a flash issue. The domain stats page doesn't use flash stuff, and I displayed both days of stats with the same browser within a minute to copy and paste it to here.
-
Weird that nobody else seems to observe this behavior...
It may be account specific, so I consider to open a support ticket. -
No, I am noticing the behavior also. Stats used to display as www.google.com for instance. Now, it just shows google.com.
Bothersome, as I would review the stats by searching for any with www as a prefix, as it were. -
And it does it with IE, Chrome and Firefox..
-
Ah, thanks, good to hear that I'm not alone.
Why should it be different per browser? No, DNS lookups are not through browsers, but through the OS.
No, they certainly tried to simplify things, but this one was overdone.
It's nearly like having no stats at all... -

same here. This presentation is not useful at all. It's been this way for 2 0r 3 days now. -
AdministratorHi all, we're currently in the process of rolling back a Stats change that was made late last week which should return Stats to their previous display style.Thankful People: Daniel Gifford, rotblitz, Red Prince, maintenance, dbfrank, jrichard326
