my computer apparently, is being controlled by another account, and i need help removing the account. however, i forgot the password of the other account and its controlling all the websites i go to, and blocking them. could you help to remove the other account, and not link my router's IP address to that account. its really annoying. -
Are you saying you have two accounts, and your IP address is registered with the other wrong account?
To gain access to the other account: logout and go to https://www.opendns.com/auth/
Click "Forgot your password?".
Delete the dashboard network then.
To not register your IP address with the wrong account: simply stop the related updater or reconfigure it to update the right account.
To possibly get another IP address for jailbreaking: reboot your router or modem, whatever the outer device is. You don't need to do this if you delete the other network in the dashboard. You have to do this anyway.Thankful People: zelus
