How do I remove opendns from starting up with windows? I would like to start it up manually.
I have tried removing opendns from msconfig, edited /autostart parameter from registry entry. but still the program comes back while starting the system. pretty persistent eh!
The only I have been able to remove is by using Autoruns
Is there any other way opendns can be removed from startup?
I am using Win 7 and dns settings are done on my computer
thanks -
It's pretty difficult with the OpenDNS Updater. It always resets it to auto-start as soon as you start it. Use another Updater instead: http://updater.marc-hoersken.de/
This runs as a service, and you can start and stop the service as you want. -
