OpenDnsProcessor task shows continuous 6-7 percent processor use.

There is no "OpenDnsProcessor" task. Is it OpenDNSCryptService.exe or OpenDNSInterface.exe?
Probably the latter. I made the same observation with 6-7% CPU usage.
I normally do not run the GUI, just the dnscrypt-proxy.exe.Thankful People: capnemo2080 -
AdministratorCheck that you are using the latest version of the GUI, since improvements to the CPU usage required by the GUI have been made in the latest version.
If you are, just running the proxy as suggested by Rotblitz or using a different GUI like https://github.com/Noxwizard/dnscrypt-winclient should fix this problem. The dnscrypt proxy actually requires very little memory and very few CPU cycles.Thankful People: zelus
