Hi,
I recently joined OpenDNS at the recommendation of a friend, by I joined using OpenDNS Home and not OpenDNS FamilyShield.
How do I change my account type, so that the dashboard shows me a list of categories i can either block or allow?
Cheers
Simon -
With FamilyShield you do not maintain settings at your dashboard. FamilyShield has predefined settings you cannot change.
If you want to use FamilyShield nevertheless, you'll use the DNS server addresses 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123, and you'll delete your network at the dashboard.
This is OpenDNS Home with Parental Controls were you can select from categories and configure individual blocking and whitelisting.
If you do not see "Content Filtering" with OpenDNS Home, you'll need to read the sticky "Read this before you post anything!" on top of the forum. -
Hi rotblitz,
Read that, and didn't tell me anything about how to get the content filtering on my dashboard!!
Cheers
