    Hi all

    I saw a free download of this file, Facebook.dmg and installed it successfully into the mountain lion notifications and it works

    My friend says it might be malware but i have not heard of any issues with this file.

    I wouldn't trust it, seriously. Don't ever, *ever* install unknown program images or executable off the 'net.

    I've edited the link in your post - don't post full links to potentially malicious software on our forums. ;)
