I'm interested in having the Administer Win 7 profile use Google DNS yet have other kids Win 7 profiles use the OpenDNS DNS settings.
Is there anyway to do this. I went in as an admin on one of my kids Win 7 User profiles and set DNS to OPENDNS. When I went back to the ADMIN Win 7 profile the Google DNS settings had changed to the OPENDNS settings.
Can someone point me in the right direction on how to setup. -
If this on the same multi-user computer, you can run individual login scripts per user, these setting the DNS service as needed.
If you're talking about different computers, read #5 of "Read this before you post anything!" on top of the forum.
If you're talking about Windows accounts generally, then LPC is for you, also covered by #4 in the same sticky. -

You can't do that. Those settings are not applied per user profile.
You can:
Write a logon script for each user that changes DNS settings.
Use something like http://www.eusing.com/ipswitch/free_ip_switcher.htm
install it only for only the unfiltered users,
and set up two network configurations which change only the DNS addresses,
which the unfiltered users can switch to OpenDNS before they log off.
Use an LPC-capable router from Netgear with the LPC firmware and software, which applies OpenDNS filtering per Windows or OS X user accounts. See the FAQ for a list of available routers: http://countries.netgear.com/lpc
