With how crazy the economy is going, the future of virtually every business is uncertain right now. I'm sure OpenDNS is no exception.
So that raises the question: How does OpenDNS's future look? -
Do you really expect a honest answer here in this public forum?
Whatever the answer will be, how can you know that it is true? -
AdministratorOpenDNS has been profitable for quite a while and we are continuing to grow our team (http://www.opendns.com/about/careers/).
Users should expect the same great service and many new features going forward. -
@miked: thanks for the reassurance.

@rotblitz: If OpenDNS were to lie, especially in such a public zone...then it would show they could not be trusted for ANYTHING. Quite a risk & loss! If there's one lie, there could very well be more. So I'll trust what they say until proven otherwise.

going forward = in the future

@computerwiz12890
I would never ever impute a pure lie to OpenDNS or anyone! So nothing needs to be proven. I thought more about not answering or not answering in full (whatever "full" can mean). THIS is the strategy followed by almost all commercial companies and also politicians "until proven otherwise" and is not really related to "trust", but more related to "honesty". -
Now what you say makes sense. But your statement in your initial response implied there would be something other than an "honest answer". If you had said "expect an answer" (without "honest") and in the next statement said "If you get an answer" instead of "Whatever the answer will be" (Implying that there WILL be an answer of some sort), then I would have understood what you MEANT to say. Funny how words can be tricky!!

Thanks

Reading again my initial statement, yes, of course, it could well be misunderstood. Sorry for this. English is not my native language, and I may have been tired and lazy when I wrote this...
Edit: And hey, I just wanted to add in favour of OpenDNS: Yes, I believe them that they are in good shape. Why? They really do not much depend on the current economical situation and events, i.e. their clever business and service idea is rather crisis free, no real competition and a good reputation, very well known on the market, so really ideal conditions for growth and success...
