Yeah, I just noticed that when I tried to go to bit.ly to shorten a URL. They're not a Phishing site. They're a URL shortening service. -

I was just about to complain about this. It's not exactly a smart move. -
Please unblock this NOW!

Same here, I bet this has been reported by someone who is unaware of what bit.ly does. -
noo, sort it out please opendnsers. the weird thing is according to the check a domain thing bit.ly has not been categorised yet? and some of them work, maybe it's already fixed and just filtering through the system.
-
Are you sure bit.ly being blocked by OpenDNS? It is not tagged as phishing:

Edit: Btw, I voted all tags down, it's none of them... -
UPDATE: you can add bit.ly to your domain whitelist - http://www.opendns.com/support/article/198

bit.ly was blocked up until a minute ago, now cleared. -
Why whitelist? It is not blocked by OpenDNS. Must be a different issue. Or is it location dependent? I'm using the London OpenDNS servers.

It definitely was being blocked: http://arp.tv/images/bitlyblocked.jpg -
Looks like someone pressed the wrong button and swiftly clicked undo, working again now. It was definitely throwing up the OpenDNS blocking page, classing it as phising.
-
Ha, it's still blocked: http://phish.opendns.com/?url=bit.ly

Just kidding, this is a constucted URL, but demonstrates very well what may have been seen by some users...

@rotophonic
It was definitely not at the time when I checked it!

@rotophic he wasn't saying it wasn't just asking if they were sure... also by the timestamps on Opendns's twitter responses compared to Rotblitz post it looks like they had already found the issue and fixed it by then..
as of his post it wasn't being blocked.. so his post was correct.. -
