Administrative: Cannot Add my Static IP.

    I got this problem on adding IP to my OpenDNS account.. it seems my currently acquired Static IP is listed on other OPENDNS account.

    Before i had my connection, my ip is set to dynamic under a proxy. thus i got all ports blocked by my ISP, and then i request a static IP which what im using right now.. and got my same IP result in Ipchicken.com opendns.com and in my modem.

    how can i resolve this problem?

    BTW, Im form Philippines and my ISP is Globe Telecom/Innove.

    my other ISP is PLDTmyDSL which is dynamic but isnt under proxy so i still get good portfowarding..

    Open a support ticket (Contact Support, on the left there). You will need to ask them to clear the IP for your use.

    oh by the way.. when will my request take effect? what i've remembered, i did ask for these awhile ago.. but i havent get any response.

    Oh my, I really have no idea. Soon, I'd hope, but I wouldn't know what the queue is like. If you don't get a response in a reasonable amount of time, you should re-submit your request.

    Do you suppose you could get a different IP from your ISP any faster? Not the best option, I'm sure, but perhaps give it some thought, just in case.

    I checked the IP for which you submitted this forum post and it is no longer in our system. You should be able to add it at this time. If you continue to have trouble please let me know.
