I have found certain banner ads, especially some clothing and teeth whitening ads to be highly annoying. So, I decided I would fight back. I located the adservers themselves and started putting them in my 'Always Block' list. Here are suggestions for you to get started.
amgdgt.com
atdtmt.com
casalemedia.com
doubleclick.net
fastclick.net
fimserve.com
g.msn.com
googlesyndication.com
imvu.com -

Right infinity306, but I didn't want a broad range of blocks. Just banner ads. -
AdministratorBlocking doubleclick.net will prevent you from using some websites (Apple's online store is one example I have personally ran into).

the above llst (from ambassador) caused a major 'oops' for me. I couldn't even get google.co.uk after using it. So I deleted googlesyndication.com and still couldn't get google. The only thing that brought google back was deleting the whole list.
