    On the stats page is a note "We’re a bit behind processing some users’ stats from August 17th through today. Your regularly scheduled dose of data will resume soon".
    Anyone else having this? Any idea when this will be resolved?

    I just signed up on the 16th. So, I only have "stats" for that one day. Nothing since then although, obviously, I have been using the Net.

    Same here. I just signed my company up on the 17th and haven't been able to pull any info for the bosses. Would love to be able to do that!

    Yes, it's rather annoying that I can't see my own network stats this week. What's more, there's simply no record or historic status report mentioning any stats issues. What's up OpenDNS?!

    As I said, on my stats page is a note as of above.

    Yep. I see the message right on the stats page. (Even though I do have stats).

    Hey all- Been a user of Open DNS for a couple of years- I'm experiencing the same stats issue as rotblitz, for the same length of time. One thing I've learned with OpenDNS is that patience is a virtue, and all things eventually work out. :-)

    This is the reason I was patient for a week. :cool: Not enough? :shamed:

    Ha! :bigsmile: There was a VERY long period not too long ago when there were NO stats available at all, (for more than a year, or about a year?). OpenDNS insisted that they were "working" on it, that it had no impact on the DNS server, etc. After awhile I stopped worrying about the stats. Then, et voila! The stats were back, and better than ever. It seems they HAD been working on them all along, and it just took much longer than even they had anticipated to roll out the new stats.

    So... I tend to believe their messages stating that things will eventually return to normal, however I've learned to take their suggested "time frame" for completion with a grain of salt... :wink:

    I have to say that they've become a little better about alerting people when an issue is occurring... now if they could just work on the "time frame" accuracy... :wink:

    :wink: I beat you by a couple of months- user since July 2007. But, I'll desist with the non-relevant observations, and hope that an "official" OpenDNS type person will step in with some insight as to what is actually happening with the stats system... :neutral:

    I opened a Trouble Ticket and received the following reply. Performed the DNS and Browser cache flush and still no stats.

    Please try the following:

    -Browser Cache flush

    (It depends which browser you are using, but generally they all flush cache the same way.)

    Firefox - Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Cache -> Clear Private Data Now.

    Internet Explorer - Tools -> Delete Browsing History -> Temporary Internet Files -> Delete Files.

    Opera - Tools -> Delete Private Data -> Delete

    Safari - History -> Delete History.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    -Local Machine DNS Cache Flush

    Windows: Start Menu -> Run -> CMD -> ' ipconfig /flushdns '

    Mac: Terminal -> dscacheutil -flushcache

    If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please dont hesitate to ask - we are more than happy to help!

    They apparently didn't get it. Some may not know about this situation. Write back explaining more in detail and reference this thread here with a link.

    There is a known-issue with the servers hosting stats. We are working on this and hope to have it resolved soon. Stats are being queued, they are just slow to process. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

    Received another reply in response to my TT. As Daniel stated above they ARE working on it. I've had SOME stats trickle in but there are still gaps in the data.

    nitecourt: Yes, the service is free and I shouldn't expect much since you get what you pay for. But if you handed a thirsty man an empty cup, would it not be natural to ask for the water? :-)

    (And again, now hopefully in the right order...)

    Yes, first they were just 24 hours or so behind.
    And now: "The stats robots are malfunctioning. (Don’t worry, the stats system is separate from our DNS infrastructure.) Stats will be back as soon as possible."
