Shortcuts: shortcuts not working on new computer with XP sp3 and IE8

    I have new laptops that shortcuts wil not work on. All are XP sp3 and IE8. It appears that live search is not an option anymore since Bing came along and without live as the default shortcuts don't seem to want to work.

    any suggestions?
