Don't mind me, I'm a bit slow tonight. Any ETA on the chicago server?
-
I too wonder about this. Doesn't seem the same technical issues that hit London should hit Chicago, so the problem must be something else.
-
Our original Chicago plans were derailed by a lack of power in the facility, despite a signed contract. We have not formalized our next steps in Chicago or elsewhere yet.

ps - We're fast, safe, and smart in Chicago, too, even if our servers are not sitting on the doorstep.

Another user sitting in STL wishing you guys could get a closer server.... Chicago would be a good choice especially if peered with level3 who Charter within STL does rely on for a backbone.

I live in the city of Chicago and I'm waiting until there's a Chicago server.Thankful People: sunrin

According to my latest traceroutes, having a Chicago server would cut 20 - 30ms off my ping times.
-
Soo i really need the server for Chi- to play real-time games like UT2004

so that it could lower my pings. -
tibsoul, a Chicago server wouldn't affect your ping times in games at all.
-
