Is it possible to type in block.opendns.com and block it for the time you're on the computer. I finally got the stats to work, but when I looked at he list I saw the blockdns. Now, I type in a site that should be blocked and it's not. -

Only if you want to violate the Terms of Service, or switch to another DNS provider -

Do you think the block.opendns.com in my stats was used to blcok it? -

Block.opendns.com is where you land when you have set your OpenDNS filtering to block a domain.
Was it used to block what?
More generically, what are you trying to accomplish? -

I'm trying to figure out why my opendns is not working and just came across a block.opendns.com and was wondering if that was the reason the stats weren't showing up. I didn't know it came up on the stats. I received stats from yesterday but now I try certain sites that should be blocked and they aren't. I don't know what is goingo n.. one time it works and the next it doesn't. -

No. Block.opendns.com is what is returned when you have set up filtering, and an attempt is made to visit a blocked site. Attempt could be made by a person using the browser, a loaded web page trying to load data from a linked domain which you have blocked, or other devices attempting to do the same.
At this point, it sounds like your IP address is out of sync, and you may be using another person's filtering settings, or none at all. Check https://www.opendns.com/dashboard/settings/ and compare the IP address of your network with the one shown in the upper right corner. Do you run an OpenDNS Updater? -

Yes, I ran an OpenDNS Updater and also had to get another ip address to add and did that. Now it's not working again. I don't know what is going on. One day it works, the next, it doesn't. -
Well, @maintenance has already said what needs to be taken into consideration. There is nothing to add. And indeed, the most two reasons for stats not working are:
1. You are not using OpenDNS for your DNS lookups.
2. Your IP address is not updated at OpenDNS.
