    I suspect that the forum eventually will be overrun by complaints of unblocked porn sites. Of which there are as many as the stars in the sky. Porn and proxy sites are like a virus which spreads quickly in a favorable environment. Possible solutions: turn off your internet or whitelist.

    I don't think anyone minds. Sure its strange that they come up so often(as if people are out there searching for open porn sites)....but it does help get them categorized faster. Which only takes about 10 seconds.

    @forranking was right, "Porn and video sharing" :smile:

    If Nudity, why not Religious??? :angry:
    People visiting p0rn sites make a religion out of sex.
    Be aware, from now on I will submit any p0rn site tagged with Nudity as Religious too! :devil:
    And maybe Lingerie/Bikini too.
    Let's see if we can stop wrong tagging and overtagging...

    I wish there was a way to the porn blocking requests from filling the forum, but the tagging process isn't that fast and OpenDNS stopped using St. Bernard (you could email them and they would review the site).

    Either way it's this or filling up my blacklist; plus we both know that white-listing the web or turning it off (which is the same thing in my opinion) isn't an option.

    Sorry I didn't mean to direct that post at you specifically. I have noticed lately, however, that the forums have been busy with talk of unblocked porn sites. The community tagging system, I agree, is slow - in addition to vague (see rotblitz comment above) and rife with inaccuracies (see domain tags for YouTube). From my observations, the current model for confirming domains as pornographic goes something like this:

    OpenDNS user A identifies an untagged pornographic website and submits it --> OpenDNS super user B incorrectly tags 1000 domains as pornographic --> Initial website gets buried in voting system --> Weeks later, OpenDNS user A complains in the forum --> OpenDNS moderator approves tag --> Other OpenDNS users reading the post add 6 additional tags to the website for good measure (nudity, sexuality, etc.)

    Seems a little inefficient anyway. Oh, and I do like OpenDNS by the way :)

    @rotblitz
    Can't say I disagree with your logic there :bigsmile:
