The home page text at the top _does_ change whether you are using OpenDNS or not, but maybe it's too subtle.

http://www.internetbadguys.com will tell you whether you are using OpenDNS and have phishing protection enabled (the default).

http://www.exampleadultsite.com/ will tell you if you have OpenDNS adult site blocking enabled and working. (There's nothing naughty there.
