My child is working through an eating disorder. Part of the treatment is to block access to all pro-eating disorder sites, as well as sites that contain calorie counts, diet information/ads, and workout/weight loss information. It would be a great help to have that category available.

I would highly suggest investigating a keyword type of filter. Your router may even have one built in.

I suggest this because even if such a category were created immediately, it would take some time to populate that category with domains, and it is likely that only a few interested people would submit or vote on any. (That could be addressed by a dedicated group of people who have an interest in eating disorders, certainly.)

It is also a bit of a niche category for web filtering, and there are thousands of such niches. I'm not sure how practical this would be for OpenDNS to implement, but the more interest there is in any such category, the more likely it is that this could be accomplished. So, if you are a member of a support group, for instance, and those people are also interested in such filtering, prompt them to express their interest to OpenDNS.

Here is where you would suggest the category to OpenDNS:
Or via support ticket, if you wanted to pursue some dialogue.

    Best wishes.
