    Hi

I am new but not verry to OpenDNS i dont need it as much as it impressed me and i`d like to use it and recommend it to friends and customers

whats holding me back is that the basic acount does not have a way of overriding a block with a admin password i would think it would have it enabled by defult

i wish to reqeust this feature

    Thanks

    Hi unrealy,

The feature you're looking for, Blocked Page Bypass for delegated users, is limited to the use of our Enterprise customers only. For more information regarding OpenDNS Enterprise, please contact our Sales Team: https://www.opendns.com/business-solutions/

I would also like this feature for a lesser fee than that required for Enterprise. It is a little silly that my networks blocks the sites I want to visit just because I use OpenDNS to help safeguard other family member's computers.

As I said there, LPC is the alternative here.

Either don't block those categories, or add domain exceptions to your Never Block list, or don't use OpenDNS on your computer (configure different addresses on the machine you use).

I don't think it will ever get much cheaper for the Block Page Bypass as there is a whole system behind that. Doesn't matter how much or little you use it.

The problem I have is I want to block certain categories of sites via the router, most of the time to help police other family members but want to be able to access them as needed from which ever machine I am working from at the time. I already have multiple filtering systems in place adding to the complexity and having an "unblock" code would fit well within the household setup. I know I could find other ways but OpenDNS via the router is so easy. I can but dream....

So there is still LPC and doing things like using a proxy IP in a browser. Or just changing the DNS IPs. Can't be more work that keying a password every time you want to see a blocked domain. Even using something like this: http://www.eusing.com/ipswitch/free_ip_switcher.htm for Windows.

What password? OpenDNS? What about clicking the link "Forgot your password?"?
