    Hello,

    while setting up some local redirects to avoid getting redirected by OpenDNS I noticed a few more IPs:

    208.69.34.230 => google.navigation.opendns.com
    208.69.34.231 => google.navigation.opendns.com
    208.69.34.232 => microsoft.navigation.opendns.com
    208.69.34.233 => microsoft.navigation.opendns.com
    208.69.34.234 => yahoo.navigation.opendns.com
    208.69.34.235 => yahoo.navigation.opendns.com

    AFAIK it's just www.google.* which will be filtered, are there any other domains which are filtered?

    I checked the Privacy Policy but I couldn't find anything. I suggest to update it soon. I don't think it's ok to filter traffic without the users knowing about it.

    EDIT: Sorry, wrong category, please move

    That makes me queasy. I saw it today, and I've gotta say: _not cool!_ Redirecting my queries doesn't make me comfortable in the least.

    We are not out to be malicious, we do this to make our service work consistently.

    The reason those ip addresses have reverse dns entries is because we are trying to be open about what we are doing.

    I kindly ask that you read the following blog post:
    http://blog.opendns.com/2007/05/22/google-turns-the-page/

    Particularly the section under "How is OpenDNS solving this problem?"
