I was looking at our stats of what was blocked last week and found that g.ceipmsn.com was blocked over 4000 times (as a botnet) whereas the next highest was 130 then down to teens and single digits for the other sites (167 total sites blocked). A quick search on g.ceipmsn.com seems to indicate that it is a part of Microsoft's search engine system. So, I'm inclined to think that this is a site that shouldn't be blocked. Does anyone have insight on this?

    Right:
    http://www.robtex.com/dns/g.ceipmsn.com.html#records
    See here:
    http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=msnbot
It gets blacklisted for a variety of reasons. Not sure of the OpenDNS angle here.

I am having one of our engineers take a look at this.

Upon further investigation, it appears that the domain may have been blocked at some point but it is no longer being blocked. If you notice any other behavior such as this please feel free to email me directly at daniel at opendns dot com.
