I am new to computers and even newer to DNS I downloaded the program and have been able to get most of it done but I am stuck on registering my IP address. I got on to a page where I filled in the forms and placed one IP address in the proper box from a drop down menu. But I went to my e-mail and found that I have to verify my IP address I have one address on my e-mail that says it is and when I clk on a link I see that my IP address is and I'm told to "clk the link from that IP address to verify it.". I tried to clk on either one of the numbers but there is no change and I can't find a link to take me to any IP address to verify or not. And I'm wondering which IP address your talking about the 2.3.etc. or the other one or where do I find my IP address and once I find the address how or where do I go to verify the proper number? Thanks for any help.

You could verify your public IP several different ways.

    1. While you're logged in, look in the upper right corner of our site - see the blue dot that says "IP"? Click on that and it will tell you your current IP.

    2. Go to a site like - this will also tell you your IP address.

Bear in mind that if you're configuring a home network, you should only check for your IP while you're at your home location. Not from any WiFi hotsopts or while on a VPN.

What message does show up with?

Also strange, in case your IP addresses were not just examples:
What kind of internet connection do you use?

I hadn't bothered to look up those IP addresses, but I figured that the result of investigation would be passing strange. It certainly was.
